On the west side of Albuquerque are 5 volcanoes - JA, Black, Vulcan, Bond, & Butte
One of the reasons we love living in Albuquerque is that we live within walking distance of this gorgeous desert park. The park contains many hiking areas and trails along with the volcanoes which formed the lava structures. Native Americans left petroglyphs in many of the areas which are easily reached for viewing. We have explorered several of the areas and here are our photos:
